Coach Langer’s Optimism and Mayank’s Recovery
LSG coach Justin Langer expressed his desire to have Mayank back for the game against CSK on April 19. He mentioned that Mayank is working hard to regain full fitness and hopes to have him play every game.
Mayank had experienced tightness in his hip during the last game against Gujarat Titans, which led to his early departure from the field. Although the medical tests showed a minor swelling, the team is optimistic about his recovery.
Langer also provided an update on another bowler, Mohsin Khan, who has missed the last two games due to a back injury. Mohsin is undergoing treatment and is expected to return soon, possibly for the match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
