His explosive innings against KKR, scoring 55 in just 25 deliveries, including four fours and five sixes, marked his second consecutive fifty in the tournament.

In a conversation with JioCinema, Morgan expressed astonishment at Pant’s rapid recovery and on-field performance post-accident, highlighting Pant’s need for support from key teammates like Mitchell Marsh, David Warner, and Prithvi Shaw to enhance the team’s performance.
“Rishabh Pant is looking impressive, and his swift progress post-accident, in terms of physical, mental, and on-field performance, is remarkable. Leading a team well is one aspect, but excelling on the field is another. Pant needs stronger contributions from teammates like Mitchell Marsh, David Warner, and Prithvi Shaw,” Morgan shared with JioCinema.
Pant is currently the fourth highest run-scorer in the league, amassing 152 runs across four matches, with an average of 38.00 and a striking rate exceeding 158. His highest score this season is 55, and he has hit two fifties so far.
However, DC faced a challenging task against KKR’s formidable target of 273, eventually succumbing to a 106-run loss. The early dismissals by Mitchell Starc and Vaibhav Arora, who both took two wickets each, left DC struggling at 33/4 during the powerplay. The steep asking rate compounded the pressure, leading to DC’s substantial defeat by 106 runs.
