Buttler remained calm and focused throughout the innings, hitting nine fours and six sixes. Even when wickets were falling at the other end, he kept his cool. In the end, he finished the match in style, hitting a six to reach his century and securing the win for his team.
This win not only made history but also strengthened Rajasthan Royals’ position at the top of the IPL standings. They now have 12 points, four more than KKR. KKR’s bowling, especially Mitchell Starc’s, proved to be ineffective. Starc gave away 50 runs without taking any wickets. Despite KKR’s efforts, Rajasthan Royals’ excellent batting and Buttler’s exceptional performance secured their victory in this thrilling match.
