The deadline for picking India’s T20 World Cup 2024 team is coming up soon, and India T20 World Cup 2024 Squad Predictions
During the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season, India’s captain Rohit Sharma will talk with BCCI selectors this week about the World Cup squad. The ICC has set May 1 as the deadline for teams to submit their squads. Former India player Ambati Rayudu has also named his 15 possible players for the World Cup.
Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who hasn’t been performing well in the IPL, is not in Rayudu’s squad.
Hardik is leading Mumbai Indians this season, but his performance as captain and player hasn’t been great.
Rayudu picked Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav as the top four batsmen. He didn’t include Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, or Sanju Samson for the wicketkeeper’s role. Instead, he chose Dinesh Karthik, who’s having a good season with the bat, even though his team Royal Challengers Bangalore is at the bottom of the points table.
For bowling, Rayudu chose three spinners and four pacers.
