Following this victory in IPL2024, CSK climbed to the third spot in the IPL 2024 points table, joining Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, and Delhi Capitals with 10 points each. On the other hand, SRH slipped to the fourth position after suffering their fourth loss in the tournament.
