Former Indian cricket player Sanjay Manjrekar thinks Kuldeep Yadav should team up with Ravindra Jadeja for spin bowling in the T20 World Cup in IPL2024 After Kuldeep’s great bowling in Delhi Capitals’ exciting win over Gujarat Titans in IPL2024, Manjrekar said Kuldeep seems as confident as “Jasprit Bumrah or Yuzvendra Chahal at their best,” which could be a big advantage for India in the upcoming tournament. He believes Kuldeep is comfortable with his role and can work well with Ravindra Jadeja.
“Yeah. This is probably the best version of Kuldeep Yadav we’ve seen in terms of his skills and confidence. You can see he’s performing like Bumrah or Chahal at their best. He’s earning that kind of respect. He seems at ease with his responsibilities, and champions, you know, those crucial moments that make a difference,” Manjrekar said on Star Sports.
“During the last over today, DC needed a wicket. After that ,They got Tewatia out, and that changed the game. This is where Kuldeep has become a top-class bowler, and I think we should consider him. Ravindra Jadeja will be there as a left-arm spinner and batsman, and Kuldeep will be the second spinner,” he added.
